Bihar STET 2024 : Bihar STET notification released, application from today, read important things including eligibility

Bihar STET 2024: Bihar Board has released the notification of STET 2024. Applications for Bihar STET will start at 4:30 pm today. The last date for application has been fixed as January 2, 2024.

The link to apply is going to be activated shortly. Youth who want to become teachers will be able to apply by visiting bsebstet.com.

The last date for application has been fixed as January 2, 2024. Like before, questions in Bihar STET exam will be of multiple choice. One mark will be given on each question. There will be no negative marking.

Important things related to Bihar STET 2024

1. Bihar STET exam will be conducted for the subjects falling under Paper-1 (Secondary) as per the syllabus prescribed for secondary classes and for the subjects falling under Paper-2 (Higher Secondary) as per the syllabus prescribed for Higher Secondary classes.

2. Paper-1 Under Secondary
   Paper-1, Hindi, Urdu, Bangla, Maithili, Sanskrit, Arabic, Persian, Bhojpuri, English, Mathematics, Science, Social Science, Physical Education, Music, Fine Arts, Dance and Special School Teacher. The exam will be conducted.

3. Paper-2 Higher Secondary:
   Under this, Hindi, Urdu, English, Sanskrit, Bengali, Maithili, Magahi, Arabic, Persian, Bhojpuri, Pali, Prakrit, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, History, Geography, Political Science, Sociology.
   There will be an examination for teachers of the subjects of Economics, Philosophy, Psychology, Home Science, Commerce, Computer Science, Agriculture and Music.

4. Eligibility Rules
   Paper 1 (Secondary)
   Bachelor’s degree in relevant subject with 50% marks and B.Ed

or
Master’s degree in relevant subject and read on app Bachelor’s degree/Master’s degree with minimum 45% marks (as per NCTE norms) B.Ed.

4 year course BA B.Ed/B.Sc B.Ed

Paper 2 (Senior Secondary)
Master’s degree in the concerned subject with 50% marks and B.Ed. examination / BA B.Ed. / B.Sc. B.Ed. or
Master’s degree with minimum 45% marks (as per
NCTE norms) B.Ed. or master’s degree with 55% marks and 3 years B.Ed.
M.Ed. course.

5. Paper Pattern:
   In Paper-1 and Paper-2, 100 questions will be from the specified subject and 50 marks will be from teacher art and other competencies.
   That means there will be a total of 150 questions.
   The duration of the examination to be conducted in
   CBT mode will be of two and a half hours.

6. Passing Marks
   General – 50 percent
   Backward Class – 45.5 percent
   Extremely Backward Class – 42.5 percent
   SC, ST – 40 percent Disabled – 40 percent Female – 40 percent

• 7 All the candidates who pass Paper-1 and Paper-2 will be issued STET pass certificate whose validity will be lifetime.

8. Application Fee:

• Male and female candidates belonging to General/Economically Weaker Section/Backward Class/Extremely Backward Class will have to pay the application fee as follows.
• Only for Paper-1 or Paper-2 – Rs 960.
  For both Paper-1 and Paper-2 – Rs 1440.
• Male and female candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe and Disabled
• category will have to pay the fee as follows.
• Only for Paper-1 or Paper-2 – Rs 760.
  For both Paper-1 and Paper-2 – Rs 1140.
